Robert has served within numerous educational institutions and universities across the UK and worldwide, including: Queens University of Belfast, Birmingham City University, Middlesex, Derby, Staffordshire, Brighton, Universidad Complutense De Madrid, Helsinki Polytechnic, Glasgow School of Podiatry, Northern Ireland School of Podiatric Medicine and more. ![]() He is therefore the first Podiatrist in history to achieve Emeritus Status! ![]() The honour was also conferred for his 22 years of academic contribution to the university. He has recently been appointed as Dean Elect for the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.įurthermore, he has secured ‘Emeritus Status’ from Birmingham City University which he was employed as Director of the Graduate School for many years. Renowned in both professional academia, and in private practice: Professor Robert Ashford originally trained within the Glasgow School of Podiatric Medicine, and has enjoyed a rich and expansive career, spanning over four decades. ![]()
